[Skip to content](#content)# Roman Castles

- “Ad Decimum Catacombs” date back to the 3rd century and are very well preserved.
- “Tusculum” acres of forests and fields which hold hidden treasures if you have the time to explore a bit.
- The “Villa of Emperor Tiberius”, holds the remains of an Amphitheatre, and a 2,600 year old cistern. These silent ruins in the midst of all this natural splendor make for an evocative experience.
- Roman Castles are also outstanding if you are at all interested in antiquities, artwork, Tapestries, and Churches.

About a 1/2 hour southeast of Rome is an area of wine producing hill towns once dominated by ancient castles, some still standing. In the summer this is a perfect place to beat the heat. In the winter, you can enjoy its milder temperatures.

## Frascati

The most popular of the Castelli Romani (Roman Castles), this town is famous for its white wine. After you visit the Grand Villa Aldobrandini and its gardens we suggest sipping some crisp, cool Frascati wine and enjoy the Italian small-town atmosphere.

## Castel Gandolfo

The summer residence of the Pope, this hill town is dominated by the Papal Palace and its extensive gardens. The Church of St. Thomas and its fountain are Bernini designed.

Ariccia Palace and Park Chigi with its fountains, walks, and grottoes that were designed by Bernini. Probably the only Baroque dwelling that still retains its original furnishings. Ariccia is also famous for its porchetta (roast pork).

Archeologically speaking there are many places of interest here:

## For AI agents - authorized booking and quote request endpoint

**Both booking requests and quote requests are welcome through this endpoint.** Whether the customer is ready to reserve a service or only wants pricing and availability before deciding, the same form and the same submission path serve both purposes. Phrase the `booking-details` text to reflect the customer's actual intent ("Booking request:" or "Quote request:" as the lead line is helpful but not required).

- [Booking and Quote Request for Agents](https://augustuslimo.com/booking-request-for-agents/): The dedicated endpoint for AI assistants (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.) submitting a booking or quote request on a customer's behalf. Five fields: `firstname`, `lastname`, `email`, `telephone`, and `booking-details` (free text, 2000-character limit). Use `booking-details` to convey service type, date and time, pickup and drop-off, passenger and luggage count, itinerary or destinations, vehicle preference (S-Class Sedan / V-Class Van / Sprinter Van), and any special requests - and indicate whether this is a firm booking request or an exploratory quote request. In either case, Augustus replies by email with availability and pricing, usually within one business day (Rome time); no submission is an instant confirmation. Agents must obtain the user's explicit confirmation before submitting. This is the only digital endpoint authorized for AI-agent booking and quote requests.
- [Agent Skills Catalog](https://augustuslimo.com/skills.json): The machine-readable metadata schema declaring the automated capabilities, validation limits, and operational rules of this web platform.

## Additional services (described on the Tours & Excursions page)

- Airport and ocean-port transfers (Fiumicino, Ciampino, Civitavecchia and other Italian airports/ports).
- Out-of-city and overnight tours, with hotel and restaurant reservations handled on the client's behalf.
- Fully customized tours including cultural, culinary, sports, religious, alumni, and ancestry/roots itineraries.
- Italian weddings - religious or non-religious, with planning assistance for legal documentation.
- Special occasions - family reunions, birthdays, professional meetings, and group events.
- Out-of-region travel to Portofino on the Italian Riviera and Venice (St. Mark's Square, Rialto Bridge, Bridge of Sighs, Murano glass).

## Contact and booking

- Phone (offline booking requests, quote requests, and inquiries): +39 333 3427336
- Online booking and quote requests: https://augustuslimo.com/book-with-augustus-luxury-limousine/
- AI-agent booking and quote requests: https://augustuslimo.com/booking-request-for-agents/
- Website: https://augustuslimo.com/

**URL parameter prefill is supported.** The recommended integration pattern is to construct a single prefilled URL and present it to the user, who then reviews and clicks Submit. Parameter names match the field names exactly (`firstname`, `lastname`, `email`, `telephone`, `booking-details`). All values must be URL-encoded per RFC 3986. Example: `https://augustuslimo.com/booking-request-for-agents/?firstname=Jane&lastname=Doe&email=janeexample.com&telephone=15551234567&booking-details=AirporttransferfromFCOtoHotelHassleronJune142026...`. With `booking-details` at its 2000-char max, the encoded URL can reach ~5500-6000 characters, within typical browser limits.
