The Lake is shallow and suitable for swimming along with numerous other sandy beaches, there is no shortage of places to take a dip. ## Perugia The capital city of Umbria, famous for its chocolate Festival held every October. Home of the world famous “Baci” produced by Perugina. Often called the Chocolate City it has much more to offer than just chocolate. Using the finest oils from locally grown olives and the freshest of just picked citrus, these are used to enhance dishes and recipes handed down through time. ## Assisi The quaint village is a popular destination for various reasons. First and foremost, St. Francis was born here and many make a pilgrimage here to honor the Patron Saint of Italy.
